Ph.D. student in Communication the Chinese University of Hong Kong
Welcome to my academic website! I am a Ph.D. student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where I specialize in Communication. My work focuses on Political Communication, Digital Feminism, and New Media Technologies. I am passionate about exploring the psychological processes happening at the individual and group levels that shape communication and social phenomena.
My recent research focuses on two topics: 1) how identity-related psychological mechanisms influence people’s perception towards and (dis)engagement in everyday political communications; and 2) how mundane topics become politicized and polarized on social media, including the mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion that occur during politicization.
